At 7th Element Africa, we craft premium safari experiences with precision and purpose. Our Destination Management division is looking for a
Safari Sales & Booking Lead—someone who thrives at the front of the sales funnel and knows how to guide serious leads all the way to confirmed bookings.
You’ll handle incoming inquiries, qualify leads, design initial itineraries, close bookings, and hand over operational details to our Safari Specialist. Your success is measured in clarity, conversion, and clean handovers—not empty conversations.
Your Role:
– Respond to and qualify leads from multiple channels (email, website, partner platforms)
– Build trust quickly through knowledge, tone, and tailored itinerary suggestions
– Design draft itineraries, provide indicative pricing, and manage objections
– Follow up rigorously—every serious inquiry should have a known status
– Close bookings with signed confirmations and payments
– Handover all details clearly to the Safari Specialist for seamless operations
– Maintain clean records in CRM or sales system of choice (we use HubSpot)
You Should Have:
– Strong sales instinct without the pushiness
– High attention to tone, timing, and travel expectations
– Working knowledge of East African safari routes, seasons, and product tiers
– Confidence writing and speaking in polished, professional English
– Booking experience in the travel/hospitality sector (preferably safari-specific)
– CRM literacy (HubSpot, Apollo, or similar)
